The Week of the Czech Academy of Sciences is the largest science festival in the Czech Republic and brings research closer to the public through lectures, workshops, and visits to research facilities. We invite you to the 2026 Science and Technology Festival in Brno, which will take place September 4–6, 2026, at the Brno Exhibition Center in Pavilion A. The festival runs daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and admission is free. Come try out some fascinating experiments and learn more about cellular biophysics. We’ll explain how processes inside cells work and show you that even complex scientific topics can be presented in a clear, vivid, and entertaining way. The festival will offer a rich interactive program for visitors of all ages and will feature more than a hundred scientific and technical institutions, schools, academic centers, and other organizations.

Mendel Festival in Brno (July 12–19, 2026) – Augustinian Abbey Grounds, Mendel Square – IBP booth featuring experiments and presentations
We invite you to the Mendel Festival in Brno, which will take place on the grounds of the Augustinian Abbey on Mendel Square. Be sure to visit the IBP booth, where we’re preparing interesting experiments, demonstrations, and presentations that will bring science to life in a fun and accessible way for both children and adults.
Come try things out, discover, and ask questions—our booth will offer a space for meeting others, finding inspiration, and seeing hands-on demonstrations. You can look forward to a program that combines learning, playfulness, and direct contact with what IBP does.
