Project objective: The aim of the proposed project is to investigate the effects of UV radiation and the action of steroid hormones, especially glucocorticoids, on human keratinocytes, which play a key role in the skin's response to stress factors. The main objectives of the project are: 1) Study of the effects of steroid hormones on the regulation of methylation and acetylation of RNA, 2) Analysis of the effect of glucocorticoids on RNA modifications induced by UV radiation, 3) Investigation of the function of hormone receptors in response to genome damage and 4) Study of other RNA modifications in response to DNA damage.
