Commercial services
Commercial services associated with the Laboratory of Cellular Biophysics I.
Available microscopes with climate chamber systems include the Leica TCS SP5 X and Leica TCS SP8 X SMD. The microscopes are equipped with a WLL laser, argon laser, and lasers with wavelengths of 355 nm and 405 nm. Services depend on capacity availability and access is subject to the internal booking system. A combination of the listed techniques is possible, as well as modification of their protocols.

Commercial services associated with the Laboratory of Cellular Biophysics II.
Flow cytometers and a cell sorter are available (for technical specifications, see: https://www.ibp.cz/en/services/flow-cytometry/overview). Services depend on capacity and their availability is subject to an internal reservation system. A combination of the listed techniques is possible, as well as modification of their protocols.

Commercial services associated with the Laboratory for Work with Viral Constructs
The laboratory is authorized to handle the following biological agents classified as Risk Group 2:
- Human cell lines, e.g. HEK, HeLa, Caov-3, HME, DU 145
- Insect cell lines: Sf9, Sf21, High Five, S2
- Recombinant human immunodeficiency virus
- VSV-G pseudotyped retroviral and lentiviral vectors
- Baculovirus AcMNPV from the Baculoviridae family
- Modified Sendai viruses from the Paramyxoviridae family and derived SeV vectors
The laboratory facilities consist of a preparation room and a dedicated laboratory for work with viral constructs. The laboratory has its own air-handling system, isolated from the ventilation of adjacent rooms, and ceiling-mounted germicidal lamps in each workspace.
The laboratory itself is equipped with a NU-543-400S laminar flow cabinet (NuAire), an incubator for standard cell lines, an incubator for cell lines modified with viral constructs NU-5810 (NuAire), an inverted microscope CKX41SF with a U-RFLT50 UV lamp and an integrated camera (Olympus), an autoclave PS20A (Chirana), a TC10 cell counter (Bio-Rad), and a refrigerator with a freezer.
Services are subject to capacity constraints, and their availability is managed through an internal reservation system.

Commercial Services Related to the Laboratory Animal Facility
The Laboratory Animal Facility of the Institute of Biophysics provides a wide range of services related to the breeding and experimental use of laboratory animals. The facility meets all requirements for modern animal housing under controlled conditions and is equipped to work with both standard and genetically modified models.
Genetically modified lines, including knock-out mice, can be housed and maintained within the facility. Expert support is available for breeding, colony management, and experimental applications.
Collaboration is possible on both a scientific and a commercial basis. The services offered include:
- breeding and housing of laboratory animals,
- reproductive services,
- assistance with experimental procedures,
- consulting in experimental design and animal welfare.
The facility emphasizes high standards of animal care, ethical research practices, and a tailored approach to each project.
