Internal Research Support
Mission of the Programme
The mission of the Internal Research Support Programme is to support the scientific and research activities of researchers at the Institute of Biophysics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, public research institution, in areas where significant and unique results can be expected. The programme aims in particular to:
- Support the research activities of young, promising researchers at the Institute, thereby facilitating the start of their scientific careers while also supporting the development of existing fields and, in the future, new fields as well.
- For already established scientific teams, bridge unexpected and non-attributable interruptions in the funding of the team’s research activities from external grant sources.
- Support the implementation of preliminary experiments designed to verify an original scientific idea/hypothesis.
