Workshop: „Unraveling and targeting sequence- and structure-specific p53-DNA interactions in development and disease“

Four groups, four different approaches, twenty participants and huge amount of ideas. Our intensive workshop is designed to promote cooperation among our different groups with similar research topics to elevate our competitiveness in international scientific environment. This new professional opportunity is part of the Academy of Sciences initiative and will impulse for broad cooperation of our groups in Europe. The primary goal of the workshop is to help our groups create connections among young researches and use the best approaches and new methodological approaches to accelerate solutions of our research problems. To fulfill these aims we will use a three-step workshop scheme – at first the supervisors will introduce groups and main topics of the interests, than students and young researchers will continue with actual research projects and problems. At second we will compare methodical approaches and at last but not least we will review possibilities of improvement by brainstorming sessions. We assume that this workshop will lead to the development of long-term cooperation and improvements of our research as well as in establishment of international scientific consortium.
