Current position (since 2006) – senior scientist, head of the Cellular and Molecular Toxicology Group at, Laboratory. of Cytokinetics, Institute of Biophysics, Brno;

 

Research interests: effects of xenobiotics on cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis, with emphasis on liver and related tissues; mechanisms and potencies of toxic effects of environmental contaminants involving activation of nuclear receptors and aryl hydrocarbon receptor, generation of oxidative stress, modulation of intercellular communication and impacts on cell signal transduction mechanisms; chemoprevention; cancer therapy

 

Publication activity:

Author or co-author of more than 55 research papers and over 200 contributions at both national and international meetings
