Stadlbauer Petr, Mgr., Ph.D.
Education:
2011 Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University
2013 Master’s degree in Biomolecular Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University
since 2013 Ph.D. degree studies (supervisor: prof. RNDr. Jiří Šponer, DrSc.), Biomolecular chemistry, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University
Work Experience:
since 2010 Department of Structure and Dynamics of Nucleic Acids (head: prof. RNDr. Jiří Šponer, DrSc.), Institute of Biophysics, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic
Research Interests:
The key topic of my research is G-quadruplex forms of DNA and RNA, with focus on folding pathways of various structures. I also work on force-field benchmarking and in the field of origin of life. I use standard molecular dynamics, enhanced sampling and coarse grained simulations for my studies.
